About RenameClick
Private AI file management for real desktop folders.
RenameClick helps people rename files by content, search documents by meaning, and automate incoming folders without turning every workflow into a cloud upload.
What the product is built around
Private by default
Local AI is the default workflow, and cloud providers are optional, not required.
Review-first file operations
AI suggests names, categories, and matches before any change is applied on disk.
Desktop-native focus
Built for real folders on macOS and Windows, not a cloud upload workflow.

Privacy architecture
RenameClick does not collect, access, or store your file content, filenames, or AI results on its servers. With the built-in local AI model, file analysis happens on your device. Optional cloud providers are available only in the direct macOS and Windows builds, and the Mac App Store build is a standalone, accountless app with no cloud providers.
Read the full Privacy Policy for how purchases, licenses, diagnostics, and website analytics are handled.
Platforms and installation
Available for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows. One purchase works across your devices.

Who writes RenameClick guides
Product documentation and workflow guides are written by the RenameClick Team, based on the desktop app's renaming, search, sorting, and automation features.
